She says that I’m too quiet. Is that really a problem?

I’ve been on 10 dates with this girl I met on Hinge. We’re not official yet, but at dinner tonight, she asked me if I’m always this quiet? I asked her what she meant by that, then she shut me down by saying no, it’s fine. Then we go for a walk and she asks me if I’m a killer and yells it out twice, embarrassing me. I said no, I’m not a killer.

Later on, as we’re walking to her car, she asks me if I’m always a fly on the wall because that’s what her brother thought of me when we hung out the day before.

She also says that she hates silence, hence why she always turns on the TV or some music as we’re cuddling/making out.

I’m naturally an introvert. At this point in the dating process, we’ve talked a lot and went deep fast. I don’t have much else to ask her. I actually wanted to become official, but this situation about me being too quiet is turning me off.

Don't even sweat being quiet - a lotta girls like a good listener! As long as you show you care when she talks, who cares if you're not loudmouth #1? Silence is comfortable with the right person.

Her yelling on the street is hella immature. Threatening to embarrass you again is a red flag - you deserve someone who uplifts, not puts you down.

Don't let her shake your confidence, dude. You be you - introvert is chill! Maybe you two just aren't super compatible since she needs constant stimulation. Nothing wrong with that, just means look elsewhere.

As an introvert myself, this would give me second thoughts too. It sounds like this just started happening and is semi-left field. So if so- it sounds like she’s trying to test you. For what exactly… is the question. And who is giving her this advice.
