I like snakes I don’t hate them the way I do bugs and spiders but only from a distance

Nope. I had pet snakes and lizards when I was a kid.
I love non-venomous snakes. They are docile. But I am cautious of venomous snakes.
I'm thrilled when I find a snake in my garden. They eat mice and voles.
I have rescued gopher snakes in the road and brought them home to my garden. Shortly after we moved here, I found a big one stretched out across the road. I was afraid it had been run over. But when I got to it, it was just sunning itself. So I picked it up by the body, it coiled around my arm and didn't make a fuss. When I got home I called my wife outside to show her. She wasn't familiar with snakes, so I had her touch it so that she could see that it wasn't slimy or anything. Then I held it's face up to her cheek and it gave her a snaky kiss with its tongue and said "Aww, it loves you!"
She kind of cringed, but she realized that it wasn't dangerous.
The only kind of venomous snakes we have here are a species of rattle snake that isn't very large. And they aren't aggressive. The last thing they want to do is bite anything they don't plan to eat. They only strike out of fear if they are threatened. And they have the courtesy to warn you if you are worrying them.
When we run across one that has bumbled into our garden, I catch it, put it in a box, drive it to a different part of our property and release it to have a happy life eating vermin.
I have a snake catching stick with a trigger on the handle that closes jaws on the end. The rattlers don't appreciate it, but they calm right down when I put them in a box and close the lid.
My wife now knows how to distinguish rattlers from gopher snakes and calls me when she sees a rattler, which isn't very often.
We have seen California kings, garter snakes, and other species in our yard. It makes me sooo happy to have them around.Nope, I had to pick this little girl up and move her away from the roadside, she was trying to cross the roadway and I did not want her to get runover.
nope... snakes, lizards, reptiles in general are no problem. My first partner had a lot of them and I helped him to take care of them. Also frogs and salamanders...
I live in Australia and we have 11 of the top 10 venomous snakes in the world. Yes 11/10.
This summer quite a few people have been bitten. Including a professional snake catcher. Even a non venomous bush python killed an older man.
Yes I am rightly afraid of snakes and I am careful.I have never actually seen a snake, but i would not say im afraid of them. Im just more aware, i would actually like to touch a snake. Im more likely to be scared of spiders bees and wasps and big animals that could harm me. Some snakes obviously are dangerous but i live in the UK and we don't have any dangerous snakes.
No I'm not. Of course I don't wanna get bitten by a poisonous snake but I don't have an irrational fear of them. I could touch a snake and let it on my body without being scared.
I respect them and keep my distance, only really need to deal with them overseas. We do have Adders here but you have to be unlucky as a human to get bitten.
Nope I was actually thinking of getting a Florida's hunters and wildlife license so I can legally hunt invasive species of snakes that are killing the wildlife in the Everglades, the pay isn't bad
I know they are dangerous but I am not afraid of them. I assume because I'm bigger I can control what happens if I see one.
not really. don't fuck with them and they won't fuck with you, unless it's predatory big snakes like pythons
Not really afraid of them, but they almost always startle me because they usually appear suddenly, when I'm least expecting them.
No but I am respectful, if I see them I leave them alone same as an wild animal
Maybe? I've never touched a snake before or anything, only seen pictures and videos of them.
I've no idea, as I've never seen one up close.
nah, i just take a break from being scared of snakes when im burnt out on it
Nope. Had a mate who bred pythons. Lovely creatures
No - I've had pet snakes before. I certainly respect the danger of poisonous snakes, but I'm certainly not afraid of snakes generally.
No!!! I want a pet snake!!! I just don't want to be divorced.
No I love snakes, they have beautiful patterns
Quite the contrary. The non venomous ones, I'll grab by the tail
