Am I bad for leaving my girlfrend?

So I’m an Indian guy, but live in Europe. My first girlfriend was this this stunning Italian girl with blonde hair.

I realised I was moving far and she’d continue living there for the next 5 years and I can’t wait that long to get married and have kids. 2 years fine. But I would end up being 30. Just didn’t make sense.

But she was the nicest girl 😢 good heart, really humble, sweet and just like a girl that would be my side. Dream girl.

Bro, that's a really tough situation. Here are a few thoughts:

Leaving your girl was definitely not an easy choice to make, but in the end you had to think about what makes the most sense for your future. Waiting 5+ years to even start your life together is a super long time.

Maybe it would've been hard for her to move countries too so young to follow you. That's a big commitment when she has school left.

You must really care about her if it was so hard to let go of such an amazing girl. But you have your whole life ahead of you too man, you can't put that on hold.

The good thing is it sounds like you left on good terms? Hopefully in time as the distance eases the pain, you guys can stay friends or who knows, maybe reconnect down the line if it's meant to be.

For now, focus on yourself - your education, career. One day you'll find an amazing Desi girl who's ready for the same things as you. You did the mature thing even if it sucked bro. Her, and you, will be okay.

No 5 years. She’s studying in this particular place for the next 5 years!! It’s a 2:30 hour flight from where I live.

Yes I want to be married and have children by around 30.

I get what you’re saying. But you have to be realistic in life. Our journeys are different. If I had to wait 5 years, who’s to say she’ll be 100% faithful, it’s a long time. Who knows what would happen.

From what you said in your other post it is realistic especially if the flight is not long at all. I been in a long distance relationship before like this and now I’m married to him. Again I would have stayed instead of throwing it all away. It sound like you made decisions off impulse and what you thought was best vs reality what it should have been
