I do. I really really like this girl when i was younger. i was crushing pretty bad that i when i eventually had the courage to ask her out. she gave me her mobile carrier. instead of mobile phone. i was literally facepalming. as i couldn't go through that again. it was very difficult getting the words out the 1st time

Kind of. I fell madly in love with Emily Swank the moment I laid eyes on her in 7th grade! We became friends but it never got much more than casual friends. She'd lend me a couple albums, even gave me one of her 45's after loaning it to me, I'd call her up after school several times just to talk with her as much as possible but, we never did anything else outside of school.
In 10th or 11th grade, I heard she was dating some other guy! A few weeks later, I was in the cafeteria for lunch and they had an ice cream vendor there so, I bought an ice cream bar, one of those things on a stick and it's covered with "hard" chocolate. For some reason, while I'm eating this, Emily came up to me and asked me if she could have a bite or two of my ice cream! This SHOULD'VE been my big opportunity to make some headway with her! (These days, when I think about that day, I have to wonder why she would ask me for a bite of m, y ice cream when she already had a steady boyfriend? I tend to think that, either she was playing some kind of prank on me or some of the kids she was always hanging out with put her up to it or even made a bet with her.) Well, I fully intended to give her some but, I kept eating it about as fast as I could to give her the last bits because, at that point in my life, I had become a big germophobe and didn't want to get her germs on my ice cream and then get them in my mouth when I took another bite!! If I gave her the last of it, I wouldn't have to worry about getting her germs. It never occurred to me that if I was ever gonna kiss her, or fuck her, I'd get her germs, anyway!
I handed her the last bit of the ice cream and she just said something like, "No thanks." and walked away.

Wish i could type like you funky. but i struggle with getting words out. But i wanted to say that sounds to me like she might have known you liked her and that she was only out to play games with your heart. by wanting some ice cream then rejecting it.

Thank you! I just write the way I'd talk except that, when I talk, I might get a bit tongue-tied, partly because I think faster than I talk so, I'd get words mixed up. s I rarely HAVE anybody to talk to, I mostly write so, I've become pretty good at it. I even type with just one hand, and I'm pretty fast at that, too.
That's possible. She eventually ended up marrying another guy and then divorcing him a number of years later. Last time I talked to her was about 6 years after high school, I called her up to invite her to come see my band since, we were playing a gig in her neighborhood. She never showed but, it was just as well. we sounded horrible, back then. I haven't seen or heard from her, since! I've got a high school reunion to go to in a year and it'd be nice to get to see her again but, they're VERY expensive so, I can't afford to go and, there's no guarantee she'll even show up. I went to one decades ago (actually, the after reunion meet-up at a local bar, I couldn't afford the actual reunion then, either) and only about 5 people showed up. Rick Balkey even showed up wearing a large black cape!! You might know him better as the stand-up "comedian", Rick Rockwell, who had a scam back in the `90's. A reality t. v. show called, "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire'. Problem was, he was only a millionaire on paper! Miss Conger divorced him not long after the wedding!

I'm the same way; I don't have anyone to talk to. and I'm wondering if it's because I can't talk.
I literally can't get the words to come out and am silent most of the time in real life.
Whereas online, at least I have a chance to think about what the other person has said and can reply.

I hope you both can meet again at some point in time. It's always nice to catch up with someone.

I would have been too young to know who Rick Rockwell was. But I looked it up, and I have to say, what are those movie titles? "killer tomatoes," I had to have a laugh.

I was also meant to have a high school reunion myself. It never happened. but then I found out about some other people.
were saying that. They were picking and choosing who they wanted to come. and I don't think that's fair.

I went to see Steven Wright one night and, after the show, I spotted him and his opening act in a bar a few doors away so, I went in to meet him and just get an autograph and they invited me to sit with them for a while. I asked if they'd ever heard of Rick Rockwell and the opener said he'd heard of him and that he wasn't very funny at all. I said. "He was like that in high school, too!" They both started laughing! Steve breaks up REAL easy off-stage but he's always dead-pan on stage.

No, you should be able to go to whatever reunion you want to. About 20 years ago, my mother decided to have a school reunion picnic. I think everybody paid about $15.00 a person, you came to a nice park, hung out with all your school friends for a full day, ate catered food, drank beer (we got kegs) and my neighbor's wife was part of the alumni so, he went too and, as he's a party and dance DJ, he'd bring his gear and supply the music for the day.
Everybody loved it and it was decided that it should be done every summer so, she did it at least 5 or 10 years in a row until she had her stroke. Somebody else took it over the next year and I think that was the last one they ever did.
