I say social life only because money doesn't buy happiness but having good friends can really make or break you. If I had to choose having good supportive friends but a shitty job or having a good career but no friends I'm going to pick friends. Other wise your going to be drinking your money away from being depressed and lonely. I rather be broke monetarily and rich emotionally surrounded by people who love me. My boyfriend and I have different views on this topic.

Really money brings a lot of happiness but my friends bring me more happiness...

A soul crushing job is way worse. If you hate your job then it's going to make you miserable in all aspects of life, so you're not going to wanna go out with your friends and hear about how great there jobs are then go back to your s***t. job I think that's worse.

My friends won't pay my bills, my friends arnt the thing I wake up to and have to me a, living off of. My friends won't get me a 401k. I rather have a good career. Cause in the long run, its whats gonna make or break you

Career is more satisfying if you are doing what you like and I don't care about social life too much. 1-2 loyal friends is enough for me and I also enjoy spending time by myself.

bad career does not make you really social. You get ignored professionaly and aa a bonus , socially ignored too, being a failure.
