The thing about these kind of 21st Century questions about leadership is that they tend to be biased towards the manager style of leadership. When you manage people, you may achieve your profit margin, and short term goals. But, I would consider myself more of the traditional leadership type who will act as a lone wolf to make decisions the effect the long term best interests of the demographic even if it’s not popular. I consider Harry S. Truman as my leadership role model for those reasons after reading several biographies of him.

Neither. I don't much care for leading, but I also don't much care for following. If the person is capable then I will follow after all their is nothing wrong with following some one who knows better then you and we are meant to work as a team. However if they have no idea what they are doing I have no interest in following fools. I do my own thing and only lead when I need to (I would say I'm fairly good at it but I'm not personally interested in it) but otherwise I like to do my own thing.
I wouldn't put myself in any category since our actions depend on the situation. There are times we feel more comfortable following the expected things but other times we might need to be on our own and lead ourselves in order to achieve a better result.
I'm what's often classified as a "servant leader". I'm not anything special - I just like to encourage, facilitate, and support the success of others.
And contribute in the gaps where necessary.

Follower or independent, prefer the independent one out of the two (I mean going my own way). But it's also because I've never had a situation where I had to take the leading role. I'm optimistic that I'd take that role pretty well because of some event I took part in and there I made my own bloc that I was leading and I believe I've done a decent job.
I'd say as an advisor.
And what has GAG done to the "First Question" format appearance? It looks awkward. I hope the GAG team aren't taking after Youtube in the bad habit of breaking things that aren't broken.
Ah hell... here we go again?Leader, unfortunately. I'm an introvert naturally, but my training and life experiences have groomed me to act more extrovertedly. Since people can ussually tell I'm introverted, they think I'm faking, so they take advantage of my good nature. I believe a leader's worth isn't scored by how many will follow them, or how high they get, it's about how many people you raise up around you.
Im an observer. I analyze the situations around me and take charge of I feel it's necessary and take a back seat when I feel my role is better suited to take instructions rather than give. If the instructions are wrong or simply dumb, I'm unlikely to do them.
I would make a terrible follower because I ask a lot of questions and I don't want the responsibility of a leader, so I'd describe myself as a tour guide. The physical world is a strange place, and you tourists need someone to show you places of interest!
There are a few options depending on the situation.
I prefer to work on my own.
In an organisation, I fit best outside the structure, providing advice on all situations.
I'd prefer to follow a competent leader but if I think I they are useless, I'll put myself forwards.
I also make a great Grand Vizier.Im even worse. Im like a stalker. Im that person in the back thats really quiet and just following, but vanishing and apearing back out of nowhere. Im usually highly aware of everything around me and can take the lead in seconds if needet.
Like big brother watchingThat is hard to answer, all my life I had been a follower, but know if I had my choice I would like to be a leader, because I have seen so many so called bosses that only cared about themselves. Please if your a boss, make sure everyone under you are treated equally, and not just one person doing all the stuff no one else wanted to do. I used to be that person, getting stuck doing all the jobs no one else wanted too do, and I was stuck doing that for 20 years.
Leader, just as most people would. The thing is that your asking people to describe themselves, we are unable to do that accurately. I feel like the question should be, are you a leader or a follower, not what would you describe yourself as. Most people would say they are a leader, even though most are followers.
I'm the guy who sits on the fence, eating popcorn, watching the world burn.
Leader. I want to do what is best for me and hopefully set a good example for others in the process without just blindly following the crowd at my own expense. I've never really been one to be told what to like or what I should want.
More of a leader, but it's because I am willing to be a follower first in order to better understand what I am getting into before trying to make a change of direction. Once I know what's going on, then I can confidently take charge.

Most recently, I have been a leader. I have been the president of my congregation and I have been the president of my fraternity's alumni association for one year. I have grown rather accustomed to being the leader.
Neither. I'm more of a lone wolf, or strategist. I don't really have the patience needed to be either. I like to imagine I would have done quite well as a shadow counselor :D
I am a leader in the sense that I don't follow but in reality I am just a lone wolf if that's a term that is involved in this
More like an in between type. I prefer to follow rules and I feel safe when given directions, but if I feel confident enough I can also be a leader
Hard to say. I don't think I am a type of born leader. But I being in that role belongs to my life somehow. But more in a teacher or role model style than in a boss style.
I'm a supporter, I help a leader be stronger. I avoid leadership so maybe if I were placed in the position I would do well?
Definitely following... every time I give orders, I feel like I’m coming off too bossy or mean. So I’d prefer to follow others
Hmm, not sure. Sometimes I follow strangers for miles until they either outrun me, or i get arrested/restrained or I find someone else to follow absent-mindedly. This is how I spend every day. I guess you could say I am a leader
