I'm usually too preoccupied to read but I always buy cool books cause I worry I will want to read it later and forget to buy it. I have over a thousand books that I bought during the pandemic and I only read around 70 of the books. I also spend a lot of time planning book outlines but I rarely turn an outline into an actual book or draft - I keep worrying I will run out of ideas which pressures me to create more back up ideas in case I run out of my ideas after writing my first book. And I have enough bible study projects to last me 50 years and yet I keep coming up with new ones. When I was in university, I was too busy studying to enjoy myself - I kept thinking I could do that later and once I got grades high enough for grad school, which had been my dream ever since I started, I did not even apply, got accepted but acceptance was withdrawn.
That's something you'd probably want to schedule for so you can focus more on what's going to get done at the present moment, I don't think its possible to run out of ideas but writer's block is a thing if you keep your mind thinking for too long.
I do probably spend a lot of time thinking about the future but mostly since sometimes I feel powerless to change it.

I can't feel that way because I know that it will surely benefit both I and my family and friends especially my family.
I actually have to spend more time on planning for my future because I know that I will be great in life.
Nope. There's only so much you can do. Have to enjoy the present so you don't get to the future and realize you didn't enjoy the trip.
