Does suspention from work affect your future jobs?

I have been working at McDonald's for 3 months now. Yesterday I went into work and my manager told me that I am suspended and shouldn't enter the work premises until the investigating is completed. I was so shocked and didn't know what I had done. He said that I had called them in the morning and said some bad stuff about the managers there. But I had done no such thing and was told to leave the premises, it was so humiliating. I have to attend an investigation meeting next week and I am not sure what will happen. Will this suspension affect my future when I quit and look for other jobs

Just go find a job at another restaurant and forget this one. Even if you go back, would you really want to work there?

Is it illegal in India to call and say rude stuff about managers?

You probably aren't getting paid either, what are they going to do, back pay you for the week if found you didn't do it?

Yup I was thinking of leaving too. But should I stay till I am proven innocent. This is in the UK and not India. The suspension is with pay. I recently graduated from University and was working here till I find a full time job. Will my future job be affected by this suspension.

I don't UK law but here in the states it won't, because work history is more like, did you work here, for how long? Disciplinary actions are internal to companies.

Ask to hear a recording of the phone call. These things are always recorded alongside the number they came from. At the meeting make sure you have an independent witness who can confirm the voice isn't yours.
If there's no recording then accuse them of bullying or discrimination.

Is the drawer short?

Did you harass a female worker?

In reality it should not if you do not list them as a previous job held. This is what I do not like about corporate franchise managers.

You have just graduated from University. You could simply not mention McD to your next employer if it goes against you in the meeting. No one is going to notice a three month gap in work.
