What do you think about this PIGGIE drawing?

An 11 year old girl drew this picture of a pig for Art Class in school. One of the boys in the class saw it and complained to the teacher that the girl was drawing "boy parts". The teacher confiscated all of the girl's drawings and called her mother, saying that her daughter had drawn something "inappropriate" in art class.

The mother came to school and had a meeting with the teacher and the principal. When the principal saw the drawing, he immediately said "write her up". The mother and little girl explained that it was a drawing of a pig with a bow tie, and neither could understand what the fuss was about.

The school district superintendent got involved, and determined it was an innocent drawing of a purple piggie wearing a bow tie, and made sure that nothing negative was added to the little girl's file. He also said that it was appropriate for the teacher to listen to the little boy's concerns.

So what do you think? Innocent drawing of a purple piggie with a bow tie? Or something else?

The kid had no idea she was drawing something that resembled a penis. It is a cute drawing and if someone sees it as a penis, can't we just all grow-up and have a little chuckle about it on the inside?

People take things to the extreme sometimes... I'm offended of this... I'm offended of that, give your head a shake people! Sorry for the rant.

Overall, I think it was a job well done!

The teacher should have checked the boy and educated him on what it actually was.

Man I rmbr we asked teachers as kids what does "Do it" mean and they said "you know the Nike Commercial, just do it" and that was the end of it.

I rmbr something like this happen to a family member of mine when he drew a tail for the bear they said his tail was inappropriate lol

I can tell the bow tie looks like a dick and balls but thats a kid and i doubt they were thinking dirty when drawing that. I’m just shocked that an 11 year old drew that pig. Usually they’re more artistically talented by that age. But oh well, they’re still a kid so i won't judge harshly

I read about this earlier today and was a bit confused. If the tie was upside-down I'd agree it looks like a well hung piggy but it's not. It's obviously a tie.

Besides, piggy penises are curly (and no I'm not making that up.)

When I saw drawing within a second I saidz "AWWWWWWW!! Some kid drew a cute little piggy!! How adorable ☺️" then I read what you wrote in the question detail section... and I was shocked and shaking my head at how some people need to get their mind out of gutter and some need to stop reacting over everything. Like come on, this kid drew a tie. It looks like she drew a bow tie before she changed her mind and decided to change it to a tie instead.

I believed in the bow tie (believe the victim unless proven guilty) the bow is kind of wonky making it seem like something else... but if you see closely in the tie there is a tip which normally people trying to draw that don't do and isn't it supposed to be upside down? Boys know from a young age but there is this thing called internet which can mix things up a notch.

I think it was an innocent picture. Even assuming there was something "penis and balls" on the front of the pig, that part of the pig wasn't where genitals would be. It looks like a bow tie I guess with a longer tie below it. The girl might not have realized that the 2 different kinds of ties don't go together.

I think there is an issue, but its not the girl or the mother its with a kid looking at someone else art going "Private parts" and a teacher taking that as a thing
