I've been writing books for years. I wrote a few novels, a couple book series, and some short story collections, but I never had the courage to publish. Last year I started a book series (I just finished book 3) about five people who always had trouble facing fears. They die and are told they have to come back to earth and learn how to face those fears. Out of all the books I wrote, I'm proud of this one. I've really connected with my characters. I wanted to get an opinion though. Do you think writing a book is an accomplishment, even if it's not published?
Anyone can write a book. Shit these days anyone can self-publish and market an e-book online. If you take all your Girls Ask Guys post and just put them one after the other, you’ll have a book after several months of posting. It won’t be a very good book, but it will take up enough pages to make a book. Writing a lot isn’t a significant feet. People write everyday, especially in the internet age.

Of course fellow writer. You are still a writer just not a published one. And it's always an accomplishment as many others have never wrote a book.
It's a huge accomplishment. I've only finished one book so far and it wasn't easy so for you to have finished a series is an amazing feat. You should be really proud of yourself. You have accomplished more than a lot of writers have. You should really think about publishing based on the description of that last book you wrote.
