Manager who fired then rehired me said she doesn’t remember me but I heard it through the grapevine she most definitely does remember me?

Since she re-hired you, there is a good probability that it was a "bad" or improper termination, she would be embarrassed to have that come up in conversation, and the way to deter that conversation is to pretend that she doesn't remember you.
