My is ignoring me except in meetings. My older coworkers are very impatient and do not understand how I work, even though it may be more efficient at times. I asked my boss if something was the matter privately and he was friendly then? What’s the problem?
Managers in other departments are very kind to me and even folks in HR are.

Yo that's super weird how your direct boss and coworkers are acting all different towards you. A few things could be going on:
- They might be jealous of you cuz the other managers/HR like you. Older people sometimes feel threatened by younger talent.
- Could be they have some silly bias against your gender/age and don't respect your methods as much. That's on them though!
- Possibly your boss is getting pressure from the cranky coworkers and taking their side instead of backing you up. Lame.
- Might be personal issues leaking into work that ain't got nothing to do with you. Don't take it personal.
As for what to do - I'd say keep your head high and do your thing. Be extra polite to cover your ass too. Also don't hesitate to stick up for yourself if they come at you wrong.
You could try talking to your boss again when it's just you two, or go over his head and connect with the friendly higher-ups if it gets real bad. But for now keep shining and let them see your skills! Their problem, not yours.
Talk to your manager. Is he happy with u your work?
He said he was. I’ve been through an awful lot lately. I may just go find some other job.
