Me Ranking the Pixar Movies, From Oldest to Most Recent

Here's every Pixar movie and what grade I would give them:

Me Ranking the Pixar Movies, From Oldest to Most Recent

( PHASE 1 )

1. Toy Story (1995) - A+; a classic story that stands the test of time, even if it's CG may not.

2. A Bug's Life (1998) - C; not that good and not that memorable, but not bad, either.

3. Toy Story 2 (1999) - A-; still pretty good after all this time.

4. Monsters Inc. (2001) - B+; is a little overrated and not as memorable as some of the others, but still a solid movie. Just doesn't have much rewatchability, in my opinion.

( PHASE 2 )

5. Finding Nemo (2003) - B; a lot of people like Finding Nemo, but not me. I won't discredit those who do, though.

6. The Incredibles (2004) - A+; this is peak Pixar, right here. A movie so good, it's still called "the only good Fantastic Four movie." Also, my favorite Pixar movie.

7. Cars (2006) - C; There's people who like Cars, and then there's everyone else. I'm not one of those people.

8. Ratatouille (2007) - B; a movie that's a little better than it has every right being.

9. WALL-E (2008) - A; a movie good enough to tell its story using as little dialogue as possible. Still holds up, all these years later, if not more relevant.

10. Up (2009) - A-; a movie that's a cheap tearjerker and plays all the emotional clichés, but still does them well.

11. Toy Story 3 (2010) - A; how they managed to make a movie sequel 11 years from the last one this good, is beyond me.

( PHASE 3 )

12. Cars 2 (2011) - D. That's right! They made a Cars 2! Five long years after the first one, no less. Post-Lasseter/Bird-era Pixar is horrible.

13. Brave (2012) - B-. Brave is neither good, nor bad. It just kinda exists and you would be easily forgiven if you thought it was a Dreamworks movie set in the "How to Train Your Dragon" universe.

14. Monsters University (2013) - D, the epitome of a pointless sequel (or prequel).

15. Inside Out (2000) - C+; god darn, this movie is SO overrated! You made Herman's Head into a Pixar movie. Good job... I don't get how or why people like this mostly-boring and cliché movie.

16. The Good Dinosaur (2015) - F. How many of you out there have even seen The Good Dinosaur, let alone liked it? This is Pixar's Captain Marvel: The first legitimate stinker, and Pixar's first flop.

17. Finding Dory (2016) - C+; another pointless continuation. This one is kind of better than it has any right being, but still not all that good.

18. Cars 3 (2017) - C-, Most people don't like the Cars movies; how did this possibly even make it to a part three?

19. Coco (2017) - B; I didn't like a single thing about Coco, but being unbiased, I can say it's not a bad movie, either. Coco is very hit-or-miss and pretty much only works based on how much Mexican culture you're willing to be interested in.

( PHASE 4 )

20. Incredibles 2 (2018) - D-. UGH, the existence of this movie pisses me off! We'd all have been better off without a pointless sequel like this, that also RUINS everything from the first movie, and makes the characters repeat mistakes and flaws they had grown out of at the end of the first Incredibles. I HATE this movie!

21. Toy Story 4 (2019) - C; this movie didn't suck outright, but it was extremely unnecessary, had a story that didn't need telling, and the end of Toy Story 3 was the perfect finale for the franchise. This movie's existence is just a dark spot on it all. And worse yet, Buzz is a pointless character in it. Should've NEVER existed.

22. Onward (2020) - C+; this movie isn't bad, but it's nothing special. It's mostly a forgettable and cliché movie, that also had some minor wokeness in it (homosexuality) for no reason. Had it come out in 1998 and had no LGBT agenda pushing in it, it would've been good. But in 2020, this was an extremely cliché story about traditionalism versus modern technology.

23. Soul (2020) C-; I actually showed this movie to my students and they were bored to death and begging me to cut it off within 20 minutes. We watched Toy Story 4 instead, and they actually liked that. Soul isn't a bad premise, but the idea of the afterlife and tackling existentialism is WAY too complicated for children! This movie fails, because of that.

24. Luca (2021) ?; I legit didn't even know this movie existed. Seriously! Was there any advertising for this? And what's crazy is, I thought Encanto *was* a Pixar movie, but it ain't! I've never actually seen this before, so I can't really rate it. But given how no one liked it or talked about it and most sites rate it as a low 7 out of 10, let's just go with a C-.

25.Turning Red (2022) D; a woke, pro-feminism remake of Teen Wolf and allegory for female puberty, marketed to children. Yay... I thought Disney didn't want movies that only appealed to one gender? Or is it okay if it only appeals to girls? Not that many girls even liked this movie anyway because none of the characters are likeable or charming whatsoever. Anyway, the movie's not that good and the writing/story makes no sense.

26. Lightyear (2022) F; ignoring Disney pushing LGBT propaganda to children once again, everything about this movie's existence was a bad idea; from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command already being a canonical (or previously canonical) backstory to Buzz Lightyear, to the movie just being confusing. Worse of all though, the story just sucks! It's not good at all, nor does it fit in with the Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear light-hearted tone and humor. It's too serious and too dark, plus woke.
