German or Dutch version of this song?

I just realised why "Stoff & Schnaps" sounds so strange; it's originally Dutch and the German version was made by Dutch people who have a cute Dutch accent when they speak German! I heard this song the first time when I moved to Germany; it's well-known among a certain group of people my age.

Yes! Also, it's the original - since I don't understand the Dutch version and until today, I only knew the German version, I prefer that one, but I think it's pretty wild that the German version is even slightly more popular when it's not even the original language, LOL.

LOL, didn't know you were Dutch - it's not exactly great, especially since the lyrics are... questionable.
I thought it was pretty interesting that they translated "bitch" with "Alte" - many people my age use that word to describe their girlfriend.
I remember that my ex used to call me that too, I never liked it, but it's not rude - "bitch" is though! So strange.

Most Dutch lyrics sound really dumb to Dutch people, haha. Always been that way and you will hear most Dutch people say it 😂

Interesting - I personally love German Rap because it was always a way for me to live my own life while being a part of a high control religion that banned rap music (explicit lyrics etc).
It's the music that is the most freeing for me personally to listen to.
Schnaps und Stoff though... Is just weird haha :D
