Let me put it this way. I grew up listening to heavy metal and it's still my favorite music. Amazingly enough I have not shot up a school or sacrificed a virgin to Satan. People who base someone character of what music you listen to need to disconnect themselves from mainstream media. Because it's think like that, that causes people to rail against mainstream media and especially news media. Because it proves that the mainstream media is brain washing people. Both Fox news and CNN are guilty of it.

No. When I think of that music do I assume the person listening is conservative? Yes, because it’s just a political stereotype. And I find the stereotypes of both conservatives and liberals and somewhat true.
however of course music alone doesn’t have anything to do with peoples political beliefs
Country music isn’t racist but I heard media moguls purposely ban music from non-white musical artists from having their music labelled as country because they thinking having only white singers in country music will increase their popularity among racists. It’s not the listeners fault who is just innocently listening to the music, but it’s why some think country music is racist. I watched a documentary about racist media typing online.
I enjoy some country music too. Enjoying such isn't reflected or influential at all in my views or personality and vice versa.

Let me flip this around. Do you think everyone who listens to hip-hop is a thug? If the answer is no, then boom. I'm Black, listen to hardcore 90's hip-hop and I'm in medical school. It's just a stereotype about Country music, that's all.
1) No
2) There’s nothing wrong with being conservative, and conservative is not synonymous to racism. That’s just progressive media shoveling that crap down vulnerable peoples minds
3) Country music is just a criteria of music. I wouldn’t call people gay for liking YMCA song, or thugs for listening to rap. Music is just another form of art or expression. It has no reflection on the character of the person listening to it. However it does influence people, and possibly change their personalities. Mostly in young dumb teens who are easily influenced by anything. No, just not incredibly intelligent. I mean, if all they've ever heard is hillbilly music and I slap a little King Crimson on them, their head will explode! Same with rap and disco crowd!! If it's ANYTHING but a solid 4/4, courtesy of a drum machine, they just don't get it!
No silly lol Only a deranged liberal would think that.
No... but to explain things, It’s just a stereotype that country singers r conservative bc some country music honors America and conservatives (now a days) tend to b more patriotic the Democrats
If that is the case, then my entire family on my mother's side is racist.
They are still in Arkansas and have listened to country music for as long as I have been on this earth.I’m looking forward to the labeling fad to wear itself completely out.
no... never really thought about it that way till this one question of yours, and it's still a no... lol
Wow, conservatives and racists go together. I think you have prejudice to conservatives more than their enjoyable music’s genre.
Given that there is virtually no distinction today between country and indie, alternative, and pop, I'm not sure how one would make that assessment.
Nah, if it sounds good to you it sounds good to you, doesn't technically define who you are as a person
I thought country music was lame until a few friends of mine played it on patrols for hours. Basically it reminds of some good times. I don’t really think the musical genre is that fantastic or racist or anything.
Definitely not. Only people who believe in racial stereotypes and like to make everything about politics think like that.
Of course not. Anyone saying that is trying to destroy a cultural identity they don't approve of.
what does music have to do with being conservative and racist lmfao
... no, it doesn't. Is it racist not to like rap music or gangbanger culture?
No. It's maybe more likely. But it's not a forgone conclusion.
I wouldn't think so. Just a target for good natured ribbing by someone like me.
If it does, what does it make me, who is black of skin and full of sin?
Why would the type of music someone listens to make them racist? As for your question no.
