Hot take about Euphoria as a show (in case you can't tell I LOVE ranting)

It started of as a really good show that actually showed many sides of addiction, grief, mental illness and the struggle of non cis people trying to fit in (Jules) however when it's started gaining popularity due to tik tok mostly, it actually went way too off track.
Like tik tok focused so much on a specific character (Maddy) and not even like the abuse that she had to go through, rather her being dramatic and hot and shit like that and now Euphoria just seems like a meaningless drama series.
Also Sam as a producer is God awful and cutted off Kat one of the most relatable characters who could have GREAT character development just cause he got into an argument with the actress.
Movie: Death note and no I will not go into detail for this one because... Do I even need to?

Awful acting, awful script, annoying characters, and pandering to feminism and identity politics. It's one of the worst remakes I've seen. The original series was good enough; so, this didn't need to be made. There was "girl power" in the original series but they did it well. This remake, however, did it in such a cringeworthy manner.

Worst Show #2 : Vikings Valhalla
No, Vikings the original series wasn't historically accurate either; especially horrifying, as a historian, were the costumes. Why must modern television series always make everything so dingey and dark? The Norse were known for their bright and colorful fabrics. You'd think we'd be more knowledgeable about bygone eras now but that is not the case. The best accurate historical series thus far, in terms of costumes, was Henry V back in the 1944. How sad...
Anyway, despite the costumes, Vikings the original was still a great show due to its stories and characters. The characters are not memorable at all in Vikings: Valhalla. I can't stand any of them really. As for the costumes, they're even worse than the original series. Barely any of it makes sense. And don't get me started on the blackwashing of one of the greatest Viking warriors to live, Jarl Haakan.

Probably the worst live action remake ever. Nothing good to say about this at all. The animation was one of my favourites growing up but they butchered it in the live action remake.
I honestly can't think what my worst would be. I can say there's some I haven't enjoyed.
Controversial opinion, most recently Wandavision bored me. I watched 3-4 episodes and it still didn't have my attention so I moved on.
The Batman also didn't do it for me, can't really put my finger on why but I feel like it had a lot more potential. Robert Pattison wasn't a terrible Batman but he was a rotten Bruce Wayne. And his moping emo self doubt attitude is hardly fitting of a Batman who's only been active two years. Watch Batman Year One for example. Can't fault the fight scenes and stuff, but the character itself was just uninteresting. The Riddler was entertaining I'll give it that though.
I just finished the 2nd season of Euphoria. I’m not on ticktok so I haven’t seen that hype. The show is incredibly slow and wayyy too much nudity. What I loved about the pacing of the show was the way that we were able to truly see the characters’ emotions, without a quick cutaway. It forced us to sit with their pain and darkness. I really think the show was cast with some talented actors. The other part that I was really impressed by was the cinematography. The lighting was incredible, in dream-like sequences. The sounds or lack of sounds in some scenes causes the viewer to feel unsettled. I’ve been looking into the crew members to find other shows or movies they’ve worked on. Anyway, I didn’t think it was the worst.

God I read 13 reasons why and I wanted to punch both the writer and whoever through that 13 reasons should become a show. Everything from mental health to sa was treated extremely poorly.
7 Seconds. Not positive if it’s still on Netflix. I was so invested I watched the entire series in one night. From sun down to sun up, and I’ve never been more pissed by the outcome of a show in my entire life. There was no justice for a boy who was run over by an intoxicated officer, and left alone to die in a ditch, one cold night in New York, years ago. (True Story) Had the cop stopped, and taken him to the hospital, the boy without a doubt would have survived. The cop was not convicted, or even suspended.

So i've watched only about 2 episodes of Euphoria when it first came out liked it but never went back then because it became popular recently because of Tik Toc I thought welp that show is gonna be ruined now If I go back. And because your tastes are alike to mine and you've just said that's what happened I trust that feedback lol.
No one would ever say Bojack, literally the best show to ever hit earth still wish it ended on the episode just before the last though because to me that was the ending. Well I won't say worst because you've already mentioned Death Note film, so something more recent tbf I haven't even seen it but I know 100% it's awful Resident Evil new live action. I am gonna watch that new texas chainsaw my dad told me it was not good so maybe awful but I'll try it. The new Scream was great in my opinion, and quite liked Wrong turn remake even tho it was very different I would say.

There's a movie called Tarzan the Wonder Car which in my opinion is lame as hell. Goons kill his father and he's mechanical nerd so repairs the car and meets his father and his father helps him kill villains and get laid
The Tom Cruise remake of The Mummy, i heard that it was ment to be the original movie that Brendon Fraser was ment to be in not the one we got which was still pretty good I thought.
i agree the show was very slow. i think people mainly liked the aesthetic of the show and their aesthetic style and the hot people. they related their outfits to what people are trying to be now with their y2k style urban style.
Lately I have been seeing lots of horrible movies. Of course you have to give them some time because some good movie have slow starts. But these I've seen are pure garbage, so bad that I can't remember the names
