I only listen to music albums and I listen to them like reading a selection of books. Every album is like a series of 10-15 chapters. And if an album is worth listening to again, it takes a very long time for me to get back to the album; normally once in 6-12 months.
50/50, there are a limited few "the bands" that are decent like this bands i found, during covid. some resurgence in established bands is always nice

I find most new music in the background of movies and short series lately.
Keep forgetting to screen what amazon music recommends. Just go straight to my playlists.

I listen to a lot of the old stuff but there are a few current artists I like. This is one of them, Stephen Fearing.

I just sometimes come across new stuff and start to like some of it eventually, but often times I listen to the same few things over and over.
I listen to a few songs in every genre. I have a preference for metal, dubstep, classical.
I am always seeking out new bands and albums to listen to.
