Anyone else find Marvel and Dc superhero movies lame?

I haven't been interested in seeing most Marvel and Dc movies that came out in the last 17 years or actually really liked a marvel or dc movie since the Blade and Spiderman trilogies of the early 2000s. I find the costume wearing superhero movie genre died out a while ago on top of how lame the recent marvel and dc movies were in last few years. I never like the Dc movies including the dark knight movies and I find the marvel movies goofy. I find that The Avengers is one of the most overrated movies of all time.

Never understood why people like Deadpool so much, the first movie was ok I guess, but he is one annoying stupid character played by an annoying actor. Anyone else feel the same way?

I read all these comics when I was a kid. I think it was pretty cool to see them come to life on the screen. The newer Marvel stuff has been pretty lame. The Eternals outright sucked and th DC movies have been less than awesome and they could have been really good. I think it has run it's course,,

Yes. I am absolutely sick to death of superheroes and super kids and magical kids and all of that. It's like every other movie that comes out is one of those. Give it a break already.

I don’t like comics cause I go through them so quickly but I loved the one I read for a cultural studies class.

For some reason the superhero-thing did not touch me at all during my childhood.

When I noticed them for the first time (age 10 or so), I found the idea silly and absurd.

They are the movie equivalent of snack food. I don't expect any kind of deep moral dillema or whatever, though they sort of managed it with black panther. It's just flashing lights to stare at while I let my brain quiet down and take a nap.

With DC their strength lies in their animated shows and animated movies, they're great. The live action stuff has always been pretty lame.
