Did you guys know Slash hates Sweet Child O' Mine, and is sick of playing it? He says it sounds like a "lullaby" and he never liked it 😂

Slash appeared long after my most influential, adolescent days of forming my musical preferences in the '70s.

I know of him, but that's about it as far as my knowledge of him goes.

I've heard that our adolescent years are the formative ones in firmly cementing our musical preferences.
Not completely, though, as I've continued to delve into many musical genres that are new to me over the years.

Slash never was on my radar.
That's not a slight to Slash.
It's just the way it is.

Yeah, they got sick of playing it! You can even hear that on their live album. At one point in the show, they say,, sounding a bit annoyed, "What is it you wanna hear?" The audience yells, "Free Bird!" So, they tuck in! I really don't understand what the attraction is!! I'd MUCH rather hear "Green Grass & High Tides"!! At least that has balls!! Free Bird just kinda wanks along for the first 5:00!!
