Am I the only one who gets a bad vibe from "Benedict Cumberbatch"?

I mean, when I look at most of his interviews or videos, he doesn't come across as this "sweet, humble and goofy" kind of person to me but rather as arrogant, pretending and opportunistic (in the sense where he only does something bc the cameras are around). When I look at him, I get the feeling that most things he does aren't genuine and that he only does these for the cameras that are around. He doesn't seem authentic to me and I just get a very fake vibe from him. Well, I don't know if he has changed or if he was different before because I am not a hardcore fan but still don't understand why people are obsessed with him so much. Only because he is British? Good-looking? And oh come on, don't say "because of his deep voice". *sigh*

I don't know, what do you think?

No, he makes me uncomfortable. Whenever I see him in a show or even in an interview. Whether it's a character he's playing or he's being giving interview, I just don't get a good vibe from him. I feel bad though because I haven't heard anything bad about him so I'm not sure why I get that vibe.

I mean, I do not know him in-person, but I have not heard anything negative about him so far - unlike Ellen.

Given, I do not search topics about him, but I also did not search about Ellen. I just happen to stumble across several articles about what people she work for thinks about her.

He usually plays very aloof characters like Khan and Dr aStrange and he does a good job at it. He is not the warm fuzzy type.
