What's your favourite Feel-Good movie?

I liked watching funny (and rom com) movies that had happy/satisfying ending ever since I was very young.. It always made my mood 10x times better and next few days more positive too.. As I started growing up, I started watching it more whenever I felt bit down. I've had tough time this year and I tried to watch some movies that I thought might be both funny and sweet but the last four attempts were failure. All those movies were lame/underwhelming.

I would really like to watch a nice movie but I'm not sure which movie should I pick. So, I'd like to hear what's your favourite movie. I'll give it a try. Thank you!

This is a good question.
I think the answer is "Cast Away" primarily because of the scenes once Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks's character) has returned to civilization after being on the deserted island for 4 years.
Right near the end, Chuck is having a private drink with his friend who became a widower while Chuck was lost. Chuck gives a very heartfelt soliloquy about having lost his love, Kelly, because of his accident then, coming home, being happy to see her again with her telling him that she never gave up hope and that he was the love of her life, but she was pressured to move on, so she did getting married and having a baby. So Chuck lost her all over again. I personally understand this devastation because it happened to me too 30 years ago. Chuck continues that he had to have hope while on the island and that, one day, the tide brought in something he could use to escape the island... Chuck says that's how he has to move on now - that he has to have hope that life's "tide" will bring something in for him.

I will simply say that, in the next scene, something happens that causes Chuck to give the slightest coy smile at the very end telling us that perhaps he has found that something.

Okay, this will seem a bit odd, but I love "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." A hilarious movie, light hearted, every high school kid's fantasy day off. Plus, for me, as a kid who went to high school and college in the 1980s, it is a touch of nostalgia.

Put "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" - and shout outs go to the original "Ghostbusters" and "Risky Business" - and I can turn off my brain, just laugh and feel good. The very definition of a "feel good" movie.

I like movies that are uplifting and have a positive message like Mona Lisa smile which is about how woman have the same rights to a career as men, and Same Kind of Different As Me which is about how an elite millionaire man from high society becomes friends with a mentally ill and homeless man and then moves the disabled man into his house and life after his wife dies. This is based on a true story and the homeless man is now married cause his rich provider helped him reintegrate back into society and provided him with therapy and skill building opportunities.

I absolutely  LOVE Aliens ! Love the banter among the space Marines and the action, the scary monsters, and the ultimate heart pounding ending. I suppose you might not call this a feel good movie, but horror is my thing and I'm all about "scare me to death!" And it has a happy ending!

For feel-good movies, I usually pick something nostalgic or something that has a story I relate to. One of them is Howl’s Moving Castle, another one is Aladdin, or Lilo and Stitch, or Kung Fu Panda. Lots of cartoons lol

When I fell like just chilling, relaxing, and watching an entertaining feel-good movie, I usually watch a rom-com that has a happy ending. Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, The Holiday, The Wedding Date are some of the movies I might watch.

i rewatched fight club recently and was surprised that it was better than i remember. The scene at then when he blows up all those skyscrapers was really heartwarming
