Should I publish my book series?

I've been writing since I was eight years old, and I started writing a book series last year. I'm almost finished with my final draft to the fourth book in the series.

The first book begins with the main character being a bit of a push over and he struggles with anxiety, and he dies in a car accident. Shortly after, he meets a spiritual guide who sends him back to earth to learn how to face his fears and anxiety. When he returns, he meets four other individuals who have all died in different years, and they travel through time being put in different situations, learning to deal with some of their own struggles along the way.

It seems I keep running into problems, and I swear they're signs that maybe I shouldn't publish, lol. First, I had problems with my internet, so I wasn't able to do research for my books. Then my lap top charger died, so I had to wait for a new one to come in the mail. And then I tried to download a PDF program to format the book, which was a failure. It didn't even work unless I paid them a monthly subscription, which I really only need it just to format the book.

I signed up for a Chime account, but I still haven't received my card. I'm wondering if maybe these are all signs that I shouldn't publish anything I've written.

Some people think writing is so easy and that anyone can publish a book. Between the numerous drafts, spell-checking, checking for grammatical errors, research, fact-checking, reading, and re-reading, it's a lot of work. I enjoy writing. I enjoyed writing the book series. I love the story. I love my characters. I'm just not sure if I should publish!
