Why all of a sudden did she reject a hug?

Me and this girl have been friends for over a year. We usually exchange hugs after each hangout. This time she rejected one. Why?

Well, she's recently been hanging out with other friends of mine that I've known for awhile. We were hanging out at a friends house on his porch while 2 of my friends went inside to do something. I got bored and impatient and told her to come with me so we can smoke a bowl. We both smoke weed and smoke a fair amount of the time we hang out, but I digress. As we are smoking we're talking about a lot of different things, just random jargon. Well, we end up going back to my one friends house and hanging out there for a minute. Eventually I was gonna leave because her and the rest of my friends were going to a party that I couldn't go to because I have work in the morning, and literally no ride back. As time progressed, I end up about to leave, giving handshakes and telling everyone I'm leaving, what not. After i say bye to most of my friends, I say bye to her and tried to give her a hug. Then yeah, she rejected it. I'm just confused why she'd do so
