It's been almost 7 months since my boyfriend broke up with me. It still hurts me to this day because I still love him very much. He calls me every week when he knows that I am not at work because my schedule never changed. He claims that all he does is work and rest at home. When we talk, he still compliments me and for a while ask me to send pictures of myself. He sent pictures of himself to me after I told him I got rid of all of his after he broke up with me. He never asked me if I was single but, I have told him that I plan to put off dating for a while. He insists that he is not seeing anyone right now. We get along well now than when we were together. He is not secretive and feels more comfortable telling me things and we consider each other to be friends although he flirts with me a lot. When he broke up with me, he tried to say that we didn't get along as a couple and that we didn't have much in common which he knew from the beginning. Now, he called me today and the day before yesterday. He is about to leave on a business trip and he told me that he will call me while he is on the trip. This has been going o for 7 months. I never ask him to call or email me, he just does it. If I don't Email him, he will sarcastically thank me for"Writing Him" or if I don't answer his call, he will either call back minutes later or leave a message to let me know that he called. When we talk, he'll ask me if I will be off on my next day off so we can talk again every time. He also plans on sending me a gift in the mail really soon and I didn't even ask him to do it. I don't know if he wants to get back with me although he has told me that he couldn't see us having a future together. He also told me that he never wants to break my heart again.I believe that he is wrong about us not having a future, that he still has feeling for me and he is confused on what he wants to do. He never admitted that he was wrong for the break up but he is not making sense of all that he said as points as to why we aren't together anymore. Do you think that if I told him that I have someone (Which I don't), he may step up and try to ask me to be with him and work things out?
