Why is my stepbrother so rude to me? wtf have I done?

okay so i met my step brother three years ago and we were literally like bestfriends. he was ever so nice and we always got on! now for nearly a year he's been so weird. He always looks moody when i talk, he ignores me, he doesn't say goodnight.. he always thinks he's right and he's even been disrespectful to my mum! his dad (my stepdad) told him not to be rude to my mum. he's so rude and im sick of it.. I've done absolutely nothing. what do i do? im 16, he's 17 and i dont want to live in the same house as some pathetic, negative miserable loser who does nothing but Always complains...

Sounds like he is acting out his anger over his mom and dad splitting. Or whatever he is angry about at the moment. So he just acts like a loser spewing his anger on everyone else like one of those Komodo Dragons spewing bile on each other. Sounds about as appealing as he acts doesn't it. (Borrowed from a friend's Mom, describing her little sister's treatment of everyone else, sound familiar?) My friend seized on the moment, whenever her little sister started in she would make this vomit, retch, Hoch-hoch noise in her throat. Pretty soon the little sister got the message!

I thought it was hilarious when I heard what she was doing and that it actually worked!

He's going through his phase. I had issues with my year younger brother. We recently had a fallout and even though we live under the same roof I refused to talk to him for two weeks until he apologized.
Don't do anything for him until he mans up, he'll realize that he should treat his family better.

Yeah.. i guess i just have to kind of ignore it and live with it. Its just going to be hard for me because i voice my opinion quite a lot and if i dont like something i can't just easily brush it off.. and hahahah! thats hilarious, i'm definitely doing that this Christmas.

I lived with assholes at uni, you start to take care of your shit in a way that means they can't interfere with it, then you just watch their assholishness from a distance and laugh about it- when they are angry about something is when you're having the best time! lol
