No. Ma 18yr sis still calls them that and i didn't think anything of it. Juz go on about what makes u comfortable. there's no harm in saying such things
That's human nature. Everyone, including you, makes judgments about people based on their observations. They may never tell you what conclusions they have reached about you and you will have no opportunity to rebut their erroneous conclusions. You do not need to change your behavior, and you may continue to call them "mommy" and "daddy" but there are consequences to all of our decisions. You get to choose what consequences you can live with.
@R3d_Anonymous Nice vocabulary. I assume you meant misanthropic. You called me a name without knowing much about me and the subject of the conversation is people being judgmental. Do you see the irony?
You know what, I apologize for ranking on you. Despite my disagreement with this opinion, I've seen you around and honestly, you seem like a pretty chill and cool person and quite tactful in general.

Or "mom" and "dad" I dunno.
it doesn't matter, many people call their parents mommy or daddy even after becoming adults
Aww. Cute. :3
hell naww, I'm probably gonna call them those foreverr
I'm 21 and I still do it, I was embarrassed when I was 16 too but really it isn't a big deal :)
from what I've seen most girls still refer to their parents as that.
you're 16 too, I see twenty-something year olds still say that.
You're not too old to call them 'mommy' and 'daddy'. It's cute actually ^_^
What else would you call their name? lol i think we are never too old to call them mommy or daddy
You're never old to call your parents that
Thank you.
I'm only a year younger and I still call them mommy and daddy. I know full grown adults who still call there parents by this.
No you're not. I still call my dad "dadda"
Aww. :)

You're never too old.
Okay, thank you. I thought I was weird
Yeah by about 8 years , that being said I knew a guy who did it when he was 13/14 in front of people and stuff
I don't think you're ever too old for those things
I say mom and dad or mams and paps
Far too old. Force yourself to call them Mom and Dad.
Why?
Anyone who hears you call your mother "Mommy" will assume that you re socially immature and very dependent. Is that the image you wish to project?
I'm not though, and if they assume that then that's pretty judgmental. :P

Ehhh, okay then. Thanks.
It's judgmental sheep like you that make people feel misantrophic.

What did I say that was judgmental?
He actually has a point.
I wouldn't discourage her to do it, but I picture anyone under age ten saying that
Eh, I'll grow out of it tbh

@R3d_Anonymous Apology accepted. Thanks for the compliment, and I hope to see you around G@G.
I think it's okay.
Thank you. :)
You're welcome :)
