Haven't found my group of friends in college yet?

So I'm a college freshman, and I feel like I haven't made any valuable friends since college started. Although I am an introvert, I am friendly and talk when needed. The only this, it's been kind of been bugging me because I've always wanted like a group of friends. Like friends to go out with and all. I pretty much lost all my middle and high school friends. I joined an organization, but it's already composed of cliques. So I joined a new one, hopefully I can meet at least one person.

Why have you 'lost' your old friends.
Being introverted has nothng to do with it. It's placing value on the friendship - have have to be a friend to have a friend.
However you are on to something about groups - and that is extroverts thrive on a lot of chit-chat and small talk, interacting with groups of people. It generally does not have any in depth meaning to it. Whereas introverts will tend to have a few that they are very close with and the conversation is more indepth with more meaningful subjects.
The first thing is that you find happiness with and within yourself, and then that you are generous, and then interested in others. If you're a friend to people they'll want to have you around.
