I am severely anaemic, i would have been better if it wasn't for my parents thinking i am just a hypochondriac. Since my period started , i started feeling dizzy.. weak.. tired, i started getting sick very very often and it got worse over years, now i can't even walk without having a blackout, blurry vision, heart ache, mind numbness, depression. So if your mum thinks she can treat anaemia, then NO, ask her to take you to a doctor because when my mum took me to the doctors, my B12 levels were extremely low and my HB levels were 4(which show that i have anaemia) and i needed a blood transfusion but my parents didn't agree and now i am still suffering. I just take supplements

Because of the Issues with ObamaCare Here, dear, Many... Have Fear. It May because of Mom's Insurance carrier.
Go to the Emergency Room, tell this to Mom. With or Without Insurance, they will Help you with No Fuss nor Fuming, and Work out a "No being a Pill" later.
You are Old enough to go Alone from Home.
Good Luck. xx
just go see a doctor. Demand to her that she takes you and if she still doesn't, go yourself and then bring her the bill. This is not so uncommon. A lot of people think they can diagnose basing on their former experiences and this can led to major health problems. Go, it's important that you get a professional's opinion.
Tell her very seriously but not disrespectful ; "Mom I am really worried, and I know you say you know what Is wrong with me, and I really respect your opinions, but I just really want a doctor to run a few tests on me. Can you please take me to the doctor?"
You need to stress to her that you don't feel good. You may need to see a nurse if your in school and they could call home to tell her that you need to see your family doctor that is one thing you could do.
says here you're 18 to 24. get a ride from someone else and see the doctor yourself.

That sounds like more than anemia. I'm anemic and aside from feeling tired a lot I don't have many other problems except for some physical things. This sounds like it could be very serious. I don't really want to say what I think because it's really bad.
Do you have any symptoms besides feeling tired? As your mother said, it could be anemia/iron deficiency. It could also be dehydration or stress build-up however.
She SHOULD take you to the doctor.
Its cute and all when moms think they do know whats best but sometimes they DONT.
It may be anemia but may be something even worse so I think she should have your blood levels checked out.. at least. You're between 18-24. Go to the doctor on your own. Could be a number of things -anemic, vitamin b12 deficient or something more serious like diabetes. So don't wait around for your mother. Go yourself.
I have anemia, I was tired for months. Got the flu, ended up in the emergency room, hospitalized for 6 days. It ended up that i was in stage 5 kidney failure. Now I have dialysis 3 days a week. Not saying your case is as extreme, but why take a risk. Good luck
Oh God, my mom is one of those. "Just put coconut oil on it!" Drives me up a wall. Just go to the doctor yourself, you're never gonna convince her if she's as stubborn as my mom is.
Do you guys have insurance? If you don't, that could be the reason why she doesn't want you to go. If that isn't the situation, just take yourself. You have two feet, a mouth and two arms.
If you're a student the campus generally has a clinic. Has your mother frequently disregarded your health issues?
For Christ's you're not a child any longer, you're a big girl/adult now so make an appointment and go on your own.
You're an adult. Make an appointment and drive yourself.
You can go by yourself. Or ask someone else in your family.
ask your friend to drive you to see a doctor. don't wait for your mom, your health is number one.
Call the emergency services of your country and ask them for help.
