Girls, Clothing optional beach with friend?

My friend (also a girl) and I are going to be travelling together overseas soon for about 3 weeks.

Im wondering what do people think about going naked infront of a friend at the beach?

One of the places we are going has a pretty big nude beach near the city. I have always been intrigued by these and seeing as ill be on holiday I really want to try spending a day nude on the beach just sunbaking & swimming etc.

Im kinda nervous to bring it up with my friend but I also dont want to miss the opportunity. I dont mind if she doesn't go nude. That would be totally fine either way. I just want some company when im there and im happy enough to be in my birthday suit while she's still clothed.
Do you think I should bring it up?
Would you be ok if your friend did this?

Do tell her you want to go to the nude beach. I wouldn't mind my girlfriends being naked around me as they're free to do whatever they want.
