So he acts jealous but he has a girlfriend?

long story short, I like a guy, he has a girlfriend, we're essentially friends right now, but he gets jealous when other guys talk to me - rolls his eyes when a guy approaches me, ignores me when I'm around a guy, etc. he's big on being in my personal space too, but he's not a creep or anything. just stands close and whatnot. he hasn't made a move, but he does like me, at least as a friend, but the girlfriend is a huge no, no for me. I don't know what I'm suppose to make of this. I can't understand why he's so jealous when I'm the one who's single, not him.

is it possible for his feelings to be romantic and if so, what is suppose to happen with that? I mean, if he likes me so much, he needs to dump his girlfriend, right?
