You can give the gift of your time and effort. Find a local hospital and volunteer. If you are religious, talk to whatever religious group you are part of they always have programs for people to help others. Get on Google and search on places to volunteer and you will get all kinds of organizations that need help, places that need arms and legs to help others in need.

Volunteer! During my undergraduate in college, I volunteered a lot since I wanted to get into physician assistant school. Volunteer work looks got on a resume too. I volunteered at a hospital, animal shelter, helped cleaned the community, and was a mentor for young teens. I still volunteer as a mentor for young teens and still enjoy it. It's nice to have someone that looks up to you and sees you as an older sibling. Look around for volunteer opportunities
I think simply acting kind to people and being understanding can be a helpful and very obvious one. Even doing things that you think are considered polite. Do things that you would like others to do for you.
I'd say that 'good deeds' are spontaneous; you can't really plan or organize them.
It's anything we do without self interest, and to the benefit of one other individual (human, animal, plant or planet); and you/we don't do them for recognition.
It begins within yourself - be 'happy' and 'positive' : the good deeds will pour out of you without even thinking about them.

I know I'm way late to the party, but I just saw this pop up.
Volunteer at a hospital. We are always looking for volunteers. This can actually lead to jobs too!Offer to do chores for the elderly or take an elderly person dog for a walk, you realize how many have dogs and are limited by elderly owners? You could earn money for dog sitting/dog walking charge low rates
Bake something for your neighbor, volunteer with small group church, donate food or money to a food bank or charity, give toys to your local children's hospital, donate toys to local toys for tots or something similar to that, volunteer to feed the hungry those are just ideas off the top ofy head, hope it helps!
Find volunteering opportunities, there has to be some near where you live. You could also bake something for your neighbours or something. Things like that. I'm sure they'd appreciate.
