My brother punched me and he keeps slut shaming me. My mother does nothing about it because she is patriarchal and has always been partial towards him.

I live in London and it’s hard to just move out like I will need some time to move into my own place because the rent is crazy. How do I manage this toxic family in the meantime?

We are in England. I know it isn’t but my family are stuck in the 1800s. They live very different from the rest of society. If you’re a girl born into this family you’re better off dead.

I did threaten cops six months ago and he is still sulking over it and always brings it up my mimicking me in an attempt to trigger me which doesn’t work. He throws in my face that he can hit me as he is a man and has power in this misogynistic family. He tells my mum “she was gonna call the police on your SON AND HAVE YOUR SON ARRESTED.” Because in his head he is a victim and everyone else is evil. He doesn’t care about anyone else.
