Everyone has there own idea of what too much is. Is running water too much? Is electricity too much? Is having two cars too much? It’s good to give children perspective even if they are too young too appreciate it. If you raise them right then the luxuries you share with them will be considered just that, luxuries.

It's critical that children learn the value of the dollar and how to work for things they want. That being said, I'm not cramping my lifestyle to teach them a lesson. If I can afford to go on vacation, they're going with me.

Yes, I know somebody who is rich and they always spoiled their kids. The kids are in their 30s now and unable to really function in the real world.
