How can I deal with a harassing family?

i really never ever expected this to happen to me. my family does not let me live in peace. they always scold me and emotioanlly harass me. i am not financially independent to leave my house hence taking it as a point they keep harassing me emotionally. i dont know how to deal with this, i really dont understanf what to do. my case study exam is in 2 weeks and they are not giving me finance to book that exam too. my future will be ruined and i dont know how to deal with this harassing family. please advise me what to do !

maybe find a part time job you can have on the side of your studies to support whatever you need in order to become independent from your family and eventually move out.


but until you reach that goal, you have to be smart about things. don’t engage in arguments with them cause that could just provoke them to keep trying to harass you. don’t let yourself get provoked when they try to provoke you, because then you’re giving them the reactions that they’re looking for, and that way they’ll just keep going.


once you stop engaging or letting them provoke or upset you, they will realise that it’s meaningless for them to keep trying to be mean to you, cause it has no effect on you. so they get tired of it.


what’s important here is that you get your priorities straight and focus your time and energy on that.

they accuse me of stuff that i never did, and im an emotional person so how can i cope up with this?

I would advise you to find a job while you study, it can be anywhere, and as little hours as you need, as long as you get income. If you can spend the day away from them studying at the library or being at friends houses than maybe it'll be easier if you only return home when you need. After a bit of working you will be able to afford rent someplace else. If you can, find friends or people from flatting groups on Facebook to live with eventually to make it cheaper :) good luck!! You are valuable and do not deserve this.

Borrow money from someone maybe? 2 weeks is such a short period away. Even a job can't pay you fast enough.
