If you’re rude to workers out in public, I’m sorry but I’m not going out with you anymore. 🥴 I have zero respect for people who treat workers like shit, whether it’s a fast food worker, a server, whatever.

I remember once I went to dunkin with a friend and they ran out of whipped cream and my friend (don’t talk to him anymore) was being rude as fuck to the workers just because they didn’t have it.
The craziest part is at the time we were both working at McDonald’s so he KNEW how annoying it was for customers to flip out about something that was out of our control.
Those poor Dunkin’ workers don’t control the truck order and control what items they do or don’t have 😭. Like shut the fuck up bro. I was so embarrassed

And I feel the same way about people who don’t tip decently. I had a friend leave a $1 tip on a $100 order once, you’re a fucking dick for that. Like what..

I can relate since I don’t like rude people with workers too.
Like people going at a public bathroom while cleaning service is in action, they usually disrespect the person working by passing on wet clean floor.
Sometimes a worker can be rude because of stress or can commit errors, but who doesn’t make errors? Everyone does. And plus he probably will be scolded by boss so usually when a worker commits errors, I tell him gently and I don’t argue.
In the case you mentioned, the worker has no guilts so your friend has been very rude, despite being him in the same working situation of the worker!

For the tip part, I cannot comprehend very well how much is a correct tip, since in my country we don’t use tipping.

In the US, typically 20% of the bill would be considered a good tip. Or at least when it comes to waitresses. With delivery drivers, I’d say 10-15% would be good. So they should of gave the driver at least 10 - 15 dollars on a $100 order.

Not really. I’m a server and after a full work week, my checks are only $20-$40. They only pay servers and deliver drivers like $4 an hour because the tips are supposed to make up for it

Ah understood, so the business owners doesn’t charge directly consumers for consumati on but rely on tipping as integration of the pay. I comprehend so tipping is a consistent part of the income of a server so it would be correct to select a tip better than the minimum one.
That’s a particular way of thinking, also relying on generosity of the costumers is something inapplicable in some countries (like here, in Italy).

Yes and I've called them on it. If I think they're being rude I politely let them know I think they're being rude. They'll in turn give me their rationale for the way they responded. And if I still disagree with them I'll be less likely to go out with them somewhere again.
I had a friend who everytime I went out would SEEMINGLY out of the blue pick fights with random people. I talked to his wife and she said he was on anxiety meds. And while I feel sorry for his anxiety I told her well he needs to talk to his doctor about it then. You can't fall back on that as an excuse. I mean he was a great guy otherwise. But when he got perturbed he'd go from 0 to 100 in a split second. Never at me. That's why it was always a surprise when he did it with other people.

Not any of my friends..
But I despise going out with my aunt because she's rude af. Not in your face rude, but her demeanor and her side comments are embarassing and annoying.
I hated going out with her in family outings.
My parents were embarrassed as well.
For someone with no money and who doesn't ever pay for meals you'd think she'd be humble and nice to people who are doing their job. She's spoiled and entitled.
