My boyfriend is very protective of his adoptive sister. We're all 3 currently in university and the two of them live together. I happen to love his family and care for his sister, but honestly since she moved in with him I feel like we never have alone time anymore. She's always there and he always has to consider her. I can never just talk freely about things for fear of her overhearing and leaking stuff to their mother (I'm not hiding anything, but I don't want his family to get the wrong idea of me based on circumstancial conversations). He's very busy with his studies and so we don't have time for dates; only to hang around his flat and study/jog together.
It's suffocating, and I'm getting very irritated with her being omnipresent and also with us not having ANY quality time together. I don't know how to deal with this, since it's not really anyone's fault.
