If you wished one of your guy friends happy bday & then the day of b-day everyone in your job wished you a happy birthday but your guy friend doesn't?

So If you wished one of your guy friends happy bday (lets call him A) & then the day of b-day everyone in your job wished you a happy birthday but A doesn't, what would you do on the day of their b-day? Would you still wish them a happy b-day or just avoid them and not say anything?

So you wish a guy "Happy Birthday" and then, on your birthday, he doesn't wish you happy birthday, so what do you do when he has his next birthday? Have I got it right?

tbh I'm not sure what to do, it's on Tuesday. I mean I've known them since high school, so I have a good memory, but they never asked me when mine was. On the day my coworkers congratulated me, they were there and never said anything.

this is specifically why i don't wish anyone a happy birthday anymore. unless they're close to me, obviously. like, i know it's nice and all. but when you never get anything back in return it kind of hurts so you just stop caring. also, i wouldn't look too far into this.

it also helps to not expect anything from anyone. peoples priorities and expectations are very different from others.
