My best friend was once an aspiring, passionate interior designer with growing practice and an inspiring vision for herself.
A few months back, she moved to another city for a project. Got involved with wrong company, who has made her a drunkard. She has stopped pursuing her goals, given up on new projects, become depressed and, I’m afraid, broke.
I have tried to help her quite a few times, and her responses have ranged from ignoring me to swearing me off. Yesterday she told me she has gotten a boyfriend who doesn’t like us talking, so we should cut ties.
I don’t want to be the selfish jerk who left his friend to be fed by the sharks. Please suggest what I should do!
