I have zero friends and hang out alone all the time. Is there something wrong about me and with it?

I get this feeling when I head to town in the evening and I see all the people gathered at the bar and I am there chilling HAPPILY with my own drink and phone. Now I ask myself why? What if I should have friends to hang out with?

I don't know what women there will think about me... not worth dating this guy? He needs to have at least 1 friend? Perhaps I could explain to her WHY?

p. S.: I do have a reason I ended up like this. I made nothing but small mistakes.

I am like you. I have 0 friends and find it difficult to make friends. Usually this is because we failed to make friends at a young age.

This is how people make friends: By the time most kids are 16-25 years old, most of their friends are their high school buddies or mutual friends of their high school buddies. When you have friends , they invite you out to parties. You go to these parties or hangout places to meet even more people. Then you become friends with these new people. Then these new people invite them to hangout with more new people. When you have friends, you get to go out to places such as clubs, events where you will get to know even more new strangers.

If you did not start out with any friends in high school, you will find it extremely difficult to make new friends when you're in your 20s. Because as people get older, they already have very established steady reliable groups of friends. Therefore, they do not need new friends. As people get older , they also tend to be more reclusive, less social and more selective on who they want to befriend.

You will find it easier to make freinds again in your mid to late 30s. This is the stage where friends get married, have kids, and then the single ones are abandoned. So these lonely single folks find themselves without friends. Then they go back out to hunt for more.

It doesn't really necessarily mean that something is wrong with you. I'm a good person and I'm nice but I feel that people find me boring. To be fair though I'm an introvert and I am shy. I don't try hard enough and don't put in much effort to talk to people and get to know them. I am also not very good at communicating. I'm sorry that it seems like you have a hard time making friends for whatever reason. I don't know what the reason is for that obviously but some people just don't appreciate good people and sometimes it could very well just be their problem and not yours.

you're an introvert. you're like amphibian you can enjoy being solo and yoy can also enjoy having friends. i think you will enjoy life waaay mire if you have friends but the good thing about introvert is we are not dependent on friends for our happiness
