What would you do if you had an 18-22 year old little sister, who wanted to join OnlyFans? And she wants to do it because lots of other people, mainly her female friends, are telling her how she'd make tens of thousands of dollars each month from it. Especially if you knew she was considered very beautiful by other men. Let's say, she is contemplating it and is currently working a crappy fast food or barista job right now in order to get by.
My twin and I where raised very conservative and Christian.

I think one of my sisters is on onlyfans, or was last year. I didn't do anything cause we weren't on speaking terms and she already had both parents threatening her. If she did find a way to make it work I hope she earned enough money to move out. Even if she's a bad person, she deserves some control over how she lives her life.

And yeah, some random girl can go on there and make $500 a month for doing nothing, but like I said, they're also destroying their reputation and future job prospects, in the process. And no, nobody deserves "anonymity" POST OF career or to "make the world forget." Those pics and videos will follow them for the rest of their life and they can't do anything about it.
So I hope the few thousand dollars or so some of these girls make in a lifetime from being on OF is worth it, cause I sure as f*ck wouldn't hire any of these girls where I worked, nor would I even be friends with most of them.
I don't think most companies check if you've ever been on explicit sites or not. I can't imagine it's anyone's job to search onlyfans for all the potential hires that just seems weird, and I have never had an employer ask about my online activity. If it does come up, yes you may get fired from a religious organization or school, but not a lot of places. Especially if you are a good employee, why would they fire you for an unrelated past? You just have to be okay with that content being out there really. Like getting a tattoo. Sure, just know it will be on your body forever and may limit your options for certain jobs. If you don't want it to be visible in 10 years, don't do it. If you do anyway, just deal with it. I agree anonymity shouldn't be an option.
Most companies don't want anyone causing them to lose money. That kind of work and those kind of people DEFINITELY causes businesses to lose money. Hell, even the wrong Tweets will cause businesses to lose money. They have no incentive to hire someone who will cause them to lose customers, clients, business, and money.
Companies may not check, but they likely will NOT keep you on if they find out, just like they wouldn't keep on a past felon or sex offender, if they found out. Or even someone who made "disagreeable tweets." We don't have to talk about whether it's 'wrong' or not that they'd do that; all I'm saying is what will actually happen. It will definitely be "a lot of places" that don't want unneeded controversy and a loss of money from one of their replaceable employees, if not most of them. And that's not getting into the kind of human beings the people on there are (since you said you don't like getting into that kind of talk, but personally, I doubt they'd be a good worker to begin with, since OF is extremely lazy, narcissistic work to begin with).
I agree with what you said at the end, but the issue is, these girls want risk-free money and don't think they should be "judged" for their actions of being an E-whore, and are so arrogant and egotistic, that they think they can control and shame people how to think. But yeah I was probably overestimating that kind of job, there are a lot of customer jobs out there to lose. Especially if you have a career you want and it will involves representing a company at all. That could really mess up your plans if you do something that could compromise your image later. Or even if you'd be ashamed if your future kids found out. Then obviously that's not a good idea to do if you plan to have kids.
Yeah, but MOST jobs you have to interact with people; even coworkers. Other coworkers wouldn't want to be around scammers and parasites, either. It implies they are not trustworthy, reliable, and dependable human beings (and in my opinion, they aren't).
But ANY negative reputation will cause a company to lose money, unless they're woke and do it themselves by attacking customers and fans like so much of Hollywood is doing and suffering because of it. I once asked a question on here before about if users would be fine having a porn star or criminal as their kids' teacher or as their doctors. And most people, like 85%, said no. And the thing people seem to not understand about my position is, I don't even have a problem with all sex workers (not that I even count OF girls as "sex workers," being there is no actual sex or work involved), especially those that don't have kids or try to re-enter society after their looks fade. Ah! Well yes I agreed "customers" like kids parents and patients would not like it. Absolutely would limit your opportunities if you want to be in the medical or education field, among others. But I don't understand why it would be a problem with coworkers, unless they already behave badly on the job. Maybe it's just me but I don't see how they are criminals, or scammers, or liars or any of that. The stigma will make customers who don't know them not like them, but among coworkers who interact with them regularly surely there would be enough of a precedent to not jump to conclusions based on finding out something like this from their long-ago past. If they were already behaving badly and then this came out, then they should have already gotten in trouble or fired regardless. But if they were fine and weren't causing trouble and then this came out, i don't think most coworkers would suddenly be up in arms and trying to get them fired.
And there are.. a lot of jobs.. which you never interact with the customer. I mentioned a couple, but some more could be tech devs, warehouse or assembly workers, some jobs in construction or in the design process. Yes your options will be limited, but you will still have options. So long as you aren't a bad worker and don't make enemies in the workplace—or they will be looking for a reason to fire you even if you don't have that kind of history.
And I think the same thing *could* apply to friends, but probably less so, because while you normally don't care whether your coworkers hold the same morals as you or if they're a great influence or whatnot (so long as they are okay to work with), you should care a lot more about that with people you specifically choose to spend time with and have in your life. So while having the precedent of being a good friend may keep some of your friends from cutting you off if they find out about your past, it won't help at all with others. And that's fair too.
I guess if all else fails they'd have to just start their own business and hire other people who couldn't get a job anywhere else, and be friends with them. And pick a customer base that doesn't care, like make recording or such equipment for current people who do that type of stuff I guess. Or something like that.
That's not possible in my family. Girls get married quite young.
But I know if it ever happened they will be disowned and the have to say goodbye to the lavish lifestyle and daddy's wealth and connections.

I have a 19 year old sister who is at university. I would have a conversation with her to explain the issues it could cause (especially in the sort of work she’d be looking into - finance, accounting, etc.), how it’s on the internet for life, the whole family would find out, that she is worth more than that and who would want desperate men with no respect for women looking at you in that way.
In the end she is her own person and it would be up to her though, I would just give my advice and opinion and let her do what she decides. If she was struggling for money and I had some I would lend some to her to try to prevent it and help her out.
However, I know that she wouldn’t do that in real life so it’s not a worry of mine.
Besides the fact that my sister wouldn't do that I wouldn't slap her but instead confront her with the fact that the Internet never forgets. Also I'd show her examples of only fans pics that are free to be found on the Internet making sure she knows that she's not just selling some pics or clips solely to the people that buy those.
I think an emotional slap with the darkside and the problems of onlyfans and its consequences would rather be suitable than corporal punishment since I want her to the conclusion that selling off nudes is a bad idea. I'd try to give her as many reasons to not to as possible.
