How do I convince my girlfriend that I didn't write messaged that were sent to her?

I have been in a ldr with someone for over a year now. She lived in Colombia, but got asylum and is now living with friends in California. I am going to see her in 2 days.

I woke up this morning to being blocked on everything because someone sent her messages that showed my number and picture planning to visit one of her friends in Colombi in December. The only problem with that is that I didn't write those messages, i don't know who did, and I can't explain that to her or defend myself. She just blocked me.

I contacted her best friend in Colombia to explain the situation, that I will be there in 2 days, but she doesn't want anything to do with me over something that I didn't do. Her friend said that she needs to get her phone fixed but will try to help because she believes me.

How do I prove that it wasn't me who wrote those messages when it looks like they came from me? I am obviously blind sided by this and can't explain that I didn't do it. Should I go to California to see her anyway?
