How to deal with a bratty 16 year old?

So this is more of an update. I've not heard from my parents or my brother since they arrived a few days I go. I know there is hardly any phone service and the electricity is gone as well. I am just worried.

What they did do was not wrong. I am a guardian on their schools so that's great I guess, I forgot about that. So I took everyone's advice and they are doing after school clubs, staying round friends houses etc. However my sister came home at 2am last night. She told me "to f off and I am not mum and dad"

She is a brat. Mouthy and spoiled but very bright, and if she learns to not be mouthy she will be a very successful lawyer. There is 14 years difference between her and my brother. She is the baby of the family. My parents were not very hands on like they were with me, my older sister and my brother.

So what do I do here? I'm not letting her stay at her boyfriend's house. Nor staying out till like 3am regardless of it being a weekend. I think she has work tomorrow anyways. Omg how do parents deal with this? I think she is acting up because they are gone. And she knows that her older siblings don't buy the I'm a baby tactic.

I hope I'm not repeating the same question. This is how to deal with my sister when she is mouthy, like I am not my parents. She was fine a few days ago, she's just gone all funny now

Lol tell her if she doesn’t fix her routine- you’ll lock and barricade the house because you NEED to know when an intruder is an intruder and not mistake the two.

If she has no problem then, staying a over longer at the boyfriend’s tell her something like:

“don’t invite me to your premature babyshower by the way!” 👋😃

you don’t need to sound like a a grandma lol

just be smart and hint at the consequences and stupidity.

Dont get on her level- show her how tough the world can be.

She can either cooperate and work as a family unit- being there at a HUMANE hour lol or she can be treated harshly as a non-family member… her choice, right. 😂

Ask her for help. Tell her how worried you are and how stressed you are, she may feel sympathy sympathy help you.

If it were me however, I'd pop the shit out of her every time she acted up. If she ran off, drag her back home or have the cocks grab her.

She's a 16 year old girl! Her behavior is completely normal. I would avoid the authoritarian angle. It will only make her defy you out of spite. I suggest talking to her like an adult. Calmly address the problems and offer a compromise. Maybe you agree to let her stay out late, but not as late as 2am. In exchange, she steps up and pitches in at home, taking some of the pressure off your shoulders. It may not work, but she won't expect it and it'll make her think for sure.

I think staying at home with your siblings isn't hard enough to ask that here for two days.

Your parents didn't go on vacation, they went to help in the middle of the war, and this is a serious enough matter for your sister to stop being spoiled. Just because she's a brat doesn't mean she can't grasp the seriousness of the situation.

You should have a serious talk with your siblings. "When our family left, they left their minds here. Are you trying to make trouble here as if they didn't have enough problems there? Do you really enjoy having fun out here until 2 am while our family is in danger there? Will be worthy of our family and stop making these difficult days harder."
