Is it me or is my friend totally narcissistic?

I can't take her anymore. We both weight lift, diet and have trainers. I never ever say how great I look, I'm loving my body. She is always texting I love how I look. My body is looking fabulous! Wtf. I look better than her I don't text her about it.

Then her new business. She texts me all freaking day how much she has sold. How many more members she has. How great she's doing. I'm doing great too but I don't text her sale I make. I never tell her at all.

On her living room wall she has a huge collage of her wanna be modeling pics from 20 years ago.

Is this woman a narc or is it that we just have very different personalities. My gut says does a narcissist. Her mother is a textbook case too. She has minimal friends and most people she becomes friends with ghost her.

She very well could be a narcissist. Or she could have low self esteem.
People with low self esteem to jump at any chance they can get to flaunt their accomplishments and convince everyone else that they're worth something.
It's extremely sad and they should be encouraged, not slandered. Eventually their self worth will increase and they'll become more humble.

Try giving her praise and see if she calms down a little. If she doesn't, then she could be a narcissist, but that's the last conclusion I would jump to. Explore other possibilities first before you write your friend off as having a personality disorder

i feel like she has no one else she can tell these things to in her life because she's that insufferable so she turns to you because you never say anything. in which case, you should.
