What do you do when the other party disrespects you and your family?

If your other party (your love) disrespects you, you only have 2 choices.

1. You talk to them and explain that their behavior hurts you and that they change the way they talk and behave with you or

2. You leave your boyfriend at once.

A boyfriend that does not respect you now will never respect you in the future. The longer you wait before reacting and setting the record straight, the more he will disrespect you and even become toxic and aggressive if you attempt to voice your concern later in your relationship.

Never ever tolerate that your boyfriend or his family disrespect you because if you don't react, they will think that this is a normal behavior and you indicate that you have a no self respect and dignity.

Then he did not really understand you or he brushes your concerns off.

You have to be firm and give him an ultimatum to adapt his behavior to the one of a civilized person or he has to accept that your relationship is taking a beating with all the consequences it may imply.

What other party? Other party in this case might be your family and the people you consider family is now extended family. This is where most problems begins.
