Is it normal to cry?

I cried today with my dad as I told him goodbye as he’s leaving to Mexico for a mini trip.

i wanted force myslef to not cry like I usually do but this time I wouldn’t hold it on and cried while hugging him. I never have cried in my entire life even tho I live Alone and see dad often just saying the word goodbye made me burst into tears.

Thats okay. I think if I cried whenever I felt like it i would be crying almost every day so hiding it is okay. Just make sure you can heal by yourself

It's normal. I told myself not to cry when my dad moved me in to Summer college semester but I couldn't hold back the tears. That was a tough day. It's normal to cry.
