Any advice to introverts on how to come off as more approachable?

How can introverts come off as more approachable and friendly? Most introverts I know look typically pretty closed off and intimidating whether it be at random social gatherings or just on the street.

All tips and advice are more than welcome from just about anyone who knows how to look friendly and open!

Thank you everyone for your tips and tricks, I've been trying to have a small smile on my face instead of my usual rbf and even that has made people approach me and interact with me.
And I also tried to have a small talk with a stranger, I didn't know how to approach so I just said to this lady who was gardening that her flowers are pretty and she got all smiley and we talked about her flowers for a good 15 minutes

Oh, wow, I think you just made me realize why I look like the odd one out here when I'm walking through town, lol.

The only way you can be more approachable is to not look so alone. Maybe strike up a conversation with some, but start out small saying, "Have you heard about that meteor the other day? Missed earth by 1000 feet."

People usually like hearing about end of the world stuff, lol, but really, it can be anything interesting. I'm an introvert and I love my peace, but sometimes it does get lonely, so I understand.

Assume that people want to be friends with you. Negative expectations can make you unconsciously put up your guard and come off as less friendly. Positive expectations can do the opposite.

Obviously, don't use this expectation to overstep people's boundaries.

I think just to build your experiences talking to people and avoid controlling friends. I think once you talk more and socialize more, you will become less serious and self mindful when you socialize and your casual and relaxed behaviour will attract people who want to calm down and release daily tensions through conversation. I find easy going and nice people have an easy time meeting new people.

Smiling goes a long way. Makes you look like you actually enjoy life because nobody wants to be around a person who doesn't look like they enjoy their life.

Just do it. Step-step-step shake hand. One step at a time. Just stop that weird introvert stuff. Look at normal extroverted people and copy what they do.

You have to step out of your comfort zone. It might be painful at first, but it will get easier over time.
