She cares about your health. And I think you should too. In just the past 2 years, 2 of my directly related aunties were diagnosed with breast cancer. Now we are all getting checked. I never thought I’d have to do it but ai’ also getting my genes tested for cancer. TRUST ME you have to check yourself. You just never know with these things and it’s always better to be protected.
The pap smear is a check to make sure you do not have cervical cancer or the beginnings of it. Maybe she wants you to still be around after a while to be with her son and be a mother to any grandchildren. Why would you not make the decision to have one?
Maybe remind her that you are an adult and that she can stop repeating that.
