The night he moved in he used my loofa to wash himself. I told him to not do that. And then a few months later, I left a sponge out that I use to clean my shoes. And he started using that to wash himself and even had the cheek to put his soap on top of it so basically claiming it as his. He’s started stealing food, the only food I leave out is my bread, he bought the same bread as mine. He eats his a lot more than I eat mine, he has a few slices left so he ate mine and left the packet open so my food could go stale. I hide all my things now.
I just went to get breakfast and he’s bought the same bread as my flat mates Paul. I’m not sure if he’s ate Paul’s or not yet but I’ve warned Paul. I think he's buying the same on purpose so he can say “it was an accident”. He also switched off the freezer so he can iron when there’s other plugs in the kitchen. Our landlord texted everyone saying not to touch that plug but he keeps doing it anyway.
It gets worse. He’s even digged up trash in the bathroom, he touched my pregnancy test (had to take one for a blood donation screening) and then had the cheek to ask me “what would you do if you were pregnant”. And then he’s also sighed the trash up for an empty packet of face wipes. I confronted him about using my sponge to wash himself and he denied it, but the next day he bought his own. I’m fed up with him at this point. My friends say I should go straight to the landlord but it’s all circumstantial, it’s only him that’s been in the bathroom or kitchen when things are taken or eaton. What should I do?
