Are banks your first option? Do you want to borrow money from the family?
Borrowing just makes it worse. If you can't pay today what makes you think you can tomorrow? Cut back hard and direct your cash where it's needed and don't be embarrassed to seek professional advice. Look at what caused the problem, was it poor money management or just bad luck.

I never borrowed money. When i needed more money, i worked more. If i couldn’t get overtime on my job, i got a second job. I even turned a part time job into a full time job that payed better than the first full time job! I worked them both full time for several months before cutting back to part time on the job that started out full time. Ell oh ell! Then i got another part time job that payed better so i quit altogether. That was a kool gig because it was union and because i was part time if i worked more than thirty-two hours i got OT.
These days everyone seems to be doing Uber or Doordash side hustles.I have saved up some for difficult times. Therefore, my first move would be to take money from there.
If I needed more and I was in a tough position, I would sell some of my gadgets.
If I still needed more and the issue would be health related for example, I would start looking for a second job however my mental state would be sacrificed since working two jobs can destroy you.
I don't like borrowing from others, it would make me feel like hell.
Even though I have no issue lending money to people around me, I don't like borrowing, so that would be my last option.I don't expect to have financial problems anytime soon but if I did I'd ask my mom for help and then if it got even worse I'd have to ask for some kind of support from social workers or people who specialize in helping with debt. But I'm responsible and it's not going to happen.
I assess what the problem is and think of different options I have.
Before, mine was simple. I didn’t have money and didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do so I got a job that helped with stability and gave me experience.
I also prepare for the worse and tell myself I have less money than I do.I believe God helps me with money issues, such as getting money right when I’m about to go into debt. A guy told me he relocated and struggled with money and then he got a job and his bank deposit was the exact amount he needed to cover his bills, down to the last dollar.
@purplepoppy is giving you sound advice. Follow her lead, as that is what I do. I apply any and all 'discretionary' money at the end of each month to my Credit Card balance. Drastically limit credit card use as it is 'too easy' to whip out the card for everything.
Each month, if I have a large balance, I set out a specific amount (500.00) to pay the balance down as soon as possible.
Get a grip on you spending for non-essentials, and pay as much as possible on the balance.
I deal with financial problems by not getting into them in the first place.

at this point and time... we borrow from ourselves first
I have a good sized savings account. When my kids were in college I used a home equity loan to cover tuition bills.
Look up Dave Ramsey! He teaches people how to get out of debt, etc. And he has a radio show you can call into if you have a question on your specific situation
By exercising self control. Don’t buy things you don’t need with money you don’t have….
I got a better job and I listened to my brain and my gut and my heart ❤️💞
I live within my means, if I want something expensive I save for it. I have one credit card that is only used for emergencies with a limit of £300,
I chuck some gold in an envelope and get a cheque in a few days
I have always made sure I earn more than I can possibly spend.
I throw money at it until it goes away.
You deal with that by getting better pay.
I ignored it. Hasn't gone well
I have a budget and stick to it
