How far would you go to help out a friend (see details for scenarios)?

Here is a list of scenarios (but feel free to make up your own and describe how you would respond):

1. You are waiting at a bus stop at night and to your surprise, you see your friend across the street being held at gun point. You don't have a gun. You just have a bus pass, ID, cash, the clothes on your back, and a phone that died recently from low battery. You are the main provider for your spouse and 3 kids, but they are safe at home. Your friend and the perpetrator don't see you. The bus won't arrive until another 5 min. What do you do?

2. Your friend lives with his/her parents and has been jobless for about 2 years but applying to jobs every week. You have seen him/her become deflated/depressed over it, feeling worthless. You notice your friend is feeling happier today (almost like their previous self) and find out he/she has an interview this week for a job/company that that they are well-suited for. Also, you have an interview with your dream company on the same day, which you have wished to join since graduating college and working at a smaller firm. On the day of the interview, their car gets a flat tire (out of bad luck). They call you for help to drive them to their interview. Doing so, means they will get to their interview on time but it also means you won't get to your own interview on time. You also see that Uber, taxi, and similar paid riding services won't get to your friend in time. What do you do?

3. It is late at night (~11pm) and you get a text from a friend that they are in the hospital with broken arm and broken leg. They are contacting you to see if you can pick them up after the medical procedure. Their phone is about to die from low battery and they give the address for the hospital. You are on vacation with family in a state park, a two hour drive away. What do you do?
